This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in a Chicago-area school setting for the remainder of the 2026 academic year. The part-time contract runs from early January through late May, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language services to a diverse student caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students in an educational environment
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student development
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois State licensure with PEL Endorsement for SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills tailored to educational environments
